A bag of clay

What happens when a bag of clay is all you had during the COVID-19 lockdown? In the uncertainty of that time—not knowing when we'd be able to leave our homes again— Nicoletta realised that the only way to make the clay last was to create very small things. This sparked a journey into scale: how many tiny pots could I make from one bag of clay? How could I push my throwing skills further? And how does our perception of a familiar object, like a vase, shift when it's transformed into a miniature? This project became a practice in restraint, precision, and curiosity—an exploration of balance and a different mindset of making.
